Multiple Scrap logs

Aaron,

I added myself to your calls. I also added myself to call 15517MPS
(8.0) to address my specific issue with scrap reporting, and added 19013
(6.1).

Thanks,

I just submitted an enhancement request to have access to the VBForm
from
Shop Floor. This is one of the reasons. Our Operators normally have
more
than one type of scrap in a run. I want to give numeric fields to
record
how many of each type.
Please add yourself to:
54SYD
and:
8972MPS (for 8.0).
Otherwise, if you come up with a "good" solution, let me know also.
Thanks,
Aaron Hoyt

We are cracking down on scrap, and have reorganized Vantage to include
only 10 reason codes. Operators are trying to be apart of the solution.
One concern brought up by the operators was their inability to track
scrap occurring for multiple reasons for one job logging session. They
can only have on scrap log per labor entry.

One solution offered was to require operators to scan off when scrap is
produced, and then to log back on. I think this is a lot to ask, but am
wondering how other companies are dealing with it.

Thanks in advance for your input,
