Multiple filters on BAQ Report

Several reports have filters that appear to only accept one entry if you search, but you can actually put in more. Trying doing a "paste insert" from a column of part numbers in excel into that filter tab.

Subject: [Vantage] Multiple filters on BAQ Report

I am writing a report for our warehouse which shows quantity in each
location for a set of parts specified at runtime. This group of parts does
not have anything in common in Epicor. What I found with the BAQ Report
Designer is that I can specify a filter, but the user is limited to results
selected from one search. We have around 7000 parts, so finding each one
and selecting as a group is not feasible. If the user searches for and
selects one part, then goes to perform another search, the previous result
is removed.

Does anyone have an idea for how to allow the user to specify a set of
parameters in this way? I am thinking of the fulfillment workbench, where
the user can keep adding to the grid with new searches.

I am not committed to doing this in BAQ Report Designer if there is another
way to accomplish this.

Thank you!

Well, you can cntl+select in your searches, but with 7000 parts, that will still be hard...

Yes, that was my first thought, but the sampling they need is not
sequential at all, so hitting Ctrl+Select on each item would be onerous.

Perhaps I'm not completely understanding, but you say these parts have
nothing in common within Epicor. Why not give them something in common via
a UD field? Are these special in-house part groups or something? If so,
I'd suggest doing it that way and mass updating that UD field via DMT or
another supported product from Epicor. Once you update your 7000 parts with
this UD field value, then you would be able to filter in a BAQ but you may
have to treat it as an Option field.
