If you have multiple warehouses, can you restrict MRP from taking into account one of those warehouses?

For example, we have a single warehouse. We want to open an additional warehouse in another location, but we don’t want MRP to think that those parts are available to use for manufacturing. Would an additional warehouse work in this situation or would we need to set up an additional site?

ETA: all vendor receiving and accounting functions would happen at WH1. Only storage and distribution would happen at WH2.

This is what the Non-Nettable Flag does. You would have to check that box on every bin in the warehouse.

Thank you! That answers my question. If it wasn’t possible, I’d have to go down a different rabbit hole.

In E9 you can filter by plant. Not sure about Warehouse in E10.

Just note that any “distribution” demand will not see this inventory as usable and MRP will ask MFG to make more, so you’ll need to manage that.

Thanks. I’m not sure what kind of kink that will put into things, so it will need to be addressed.
