Speaking of the new Microsoft policies that seemed to designed strictly to
increase Microsoft revenue with little regard to the consumer, has anyone
out there switched or considered switching over their office application to
Star Office from Sun which is free and does basically the same things that
MS is charging mega bucks (and is now increasing) for? We have 250 Office 97
pro licenses and are considering switching all users over to Star Office
eventually rather that upgrading and continue to upgrade to new versions of
MS Office which MS seems to trying to force everyone to do to increase their
revenues. We have used Star Office on a limited basis and it really seems to
do all of MS office does.
