MRP Regeneration

The amount of time it takes to run MRP is directly related to the size
of your database and the settings you use when running the application.

We have a very large database that we run MRP processing on, out to
01/01/08 it takes 16 hrs to run a full regen.

It would depend on the size of your database but that does sound somewhat normal.

As Jasper indicated, it is dependent on your database. Our MRP Regen
routinely runs 4 to 4 1/2 hours. We have approx. 11,000 parts, 4-5
levels of BOM and a twelve month MPS horizon. Your first regen should
run the quickest as it does not have any previous recommendations to
delete (everything else being equal). Hope all goes well.

Sincerely,
