How was the demand created?

Transfer order to Plant A
In part plant the part is set up as a transfer part for plant A and as a manufactured part in Plant B

All the demand in Plant A is from MRP jobs, all unfirm.

We are currently running Epicor 9.05.606 single company multi-plant.

We are having issues with MRP creating jobs using the revision for the wrong plant.

Demand is in Plant A
Job is created in Plant A
Revision used on the job is for Plant B

The use part rev check box is not checked on any of our parts.

How can I prevent this from happening? On one part it created a few jobs with a revision from one plant and a few other with the revision from the correct plant.
Do you have multiple approved revisions?
As far as I know, MRP assigns the LATEST approved revision.
I've not found a way around this.

We do have revisions approved on both plants...

Why would it create some jobs for the same plant, some with one revision and some with the revision from the other plant?

Also the effective date for the revision from Plant A is 1/1/1911 and from Plant B is 1/15/2012.

But Epicor still uses the revision from plant A.

Are you set up to do transfer orders between plants? It is possible MRP is being run (not knowing your settings) in a way it is being given info that it is best to make the part at on plant and transfer it (ship it) to another. (You would see the trnsfer orders in time-phase w/ suggestions turned on).
