Moving 6.1 VBForm fields to 8.0 customizations

Thanks to those who responded off line.

Items 1 & 2, In Developer Mode, Customizations, Customization Tools Dialog,
Properties Tab for a numeric field, "MaskImput" which you get
$-nnn,nnn,nnn.nnnn controls the input of data.

Item 3) My mistake, after importing I need to load a customer record,
without selecting new or a current records the screens fields are view only
or not enabled, whatever you want to call it.

Item 4) Still don't know what's going on with that radio button.

Anyone having issues in moving 6.1 VBForm fields to 8.0 customizations

Example:
Customer Master File:
I create a sheet with the Sheet Wizard called "User Fields". Ok so far.
Add two NumericEditor fields and link to customer.number01 and 02.
Both looking for integers.
I add a UltraComb (Drop down list) to customer.character08 and build a list
"Desk1, Desk2, Desk3"
I add two check boxes and attach to customer.checkbox01 and 02.
I add two NumericEditor fields and customer.numeric03 and 04.
I want these with 3 decimal places on the first and 2 on the second
field.

Problems:
1) Can't control the field mask or number of decimal places?
2) Save my customization and export it. (Why because when I go live I have
to import them.)
When I import this customization the mask or format on the fields
goes to "nnnn,nnnn,nnn.nnnnn".
3) After importing all fields are read only.
4) I didn't use a RadioButton because I could see how to assign anything to
it to select different choices from.
