MFGSYS.EXE has encountered a problem

I would remove the prereqs (WSE, .NET 3.0) and the client directory,
reboot, and then reinstall the prereqs and the client. We had this
happen on one workstation and it resolved after a clean install of the
components and the client.

If you already reinstall vantage on this computer my advise is not
actual.
If not try reinstall.

Vantage 8.03.406a

I have installed Vantage on dozens of computers, but I have one that I
can't get it to work. When I try to run it I get:

MfgSys.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I get this message almost emediately. The computer has Windows XP with
all the latest updates and I made sure that .Net 3 and the Crystal
report runtime has been installed properly.

Any ideas?
