MES-Start Production-End Activiy - options?

FYI - not live yet.
Setup= Machines are setup as users with SSO and will need to login at beginning of shift and off and end of shift. Repeat process for a total of 3 shifts.
We back flush materials and labor.

We have Kinetic 2022.2 with MES and CK65 scanners currently.
Need to find a way to Auto Login and off at each shift? BPM?
Need to find a way to either have a Updateable dashboard to input qty for the Jobs by machine / shift.
or
… Scan barcode / barcodes that would start job and operation - report qty on hand held and then end activity then start the activity again if needed on the same job for he next pallet?

Ops would love:

Option1: Scan barcode (Start activity, Job,Ops) input qty then end activity (Repeat process as recording qty)
Option 2: UBAQ-Dashboard: Resource (Machine) Job, Ops, Qty good, Begin - end activity so that they can record multiple jobs (Resources) at once then update. (I.E.) backflush

Did some Q&A in-house.

  1. BPM or ? to allow Login machine#
    at x time to x time = shift 1 then
    at x time to x time = shift 2 then
    at x time to x time = shift 3 then
    at x time to x time = shift 4. If shift present. (Currently 3 shifts x 5 days a week) could need 4 shift - 7 day.

Plan to work with Job receipt to Inventory. (Using barcodes) Will need to see how we can streamline that input.

Have you looked at the Work Queue in MES? It allows for mass starting/ending labor activities. Its not going to be exactly what you’re looking for, but might get you 75% of the way without needing to customize.
