For a particular job we have a completed quantity of 788. But we need to subtract 263. Out back in the plant, they used the MES and just went to end the job and put in a negative number and in the past it has worked. Today it says an error.

The quantity entered will result in a negative total quantity posted to this job operation. Entry not allowed.

I can fix it in other areas of epicor but if I can get this to work for them out back, it saves us a lot of headache.

And the answer is, Epicor disabled that and will add it back in future release. But it is unknown as to which future release.
