There is an article in the help files on MES Customization. I haven't tried it yet but it's on my list of "nice to haves" so I'm curious as well.

I've been told that if you don't have the field you want, you need to change the business object with the SDK. Since we have it, we've been able to do this. But if you find a way to do this without the SDK, please let me know.

I am trying to customize the 'work queue' screen in MES so the tabbed
grid views at the bottom of the screen display different data. I can see
how to change fields from hidden and not hidden but I cannot figure out
how to add fields that are not available in the list of fields to choose
from. More specifically, all of the tabbed grids display the Operation
ID but the Operation Description is not a choice. I would prefer to list
the description rather than the code. Can anyone direct my how to add
that info to the grid?
