MES Customization 9.05.700

Thanks Brian.

Another question if I may. I want the filter code to run whenever the user clicks the Current Work, Available Work or the Expected Work. I'm guessing I should use the Form Event Wizard, but not sure what would be the best Event Type?

Any suggestions?

We would like to customize the MES environment so that it would automatically set the work queue current/available/expected work to filter by the logged in employee. Right now, we have a machinists resource group and when a particular machinist logs in, they see all the work of everyone in that resource group. To make it easy for the floor, we would like the list to automatically filter by that employee so they don't have to. Never doing an MES customization, I am at a loss on how to tackle this.

Tim
Start Epicor with the /MESC flag, then right click on the background of
the MES screen to start customization. At that point you've got the
regular tools available.

Once your customization is complete & ready to deploy, you'll need to
add a new menu item in Menu Maintenance, pointing to
Epicor.Mfg.Menu.Mes.dll and select your customization. Then modify the
client default.mfgsys, and look for the MESCustomMenuID line, and put
that menu item there. Then people starting MES will get your
customization loaded by default.

Brian.

We would like to customize the MES environment so that it would
automatically set the work queue current/available/expected work to
filter by the logged in employee. Right now, we have a machinists
resource group and when a particular machinist logs in, they see all the
work of everyone in that resource group. To make it easy for the floor,
we would like the list to automatically filter by that employee so they
don't have to. Never doing an MES customization, I am at a loss on how
to tackle this.
