MES Customisation - End Activity

So i am trying to create a customisation on MES and have followed some instructions from another thread on here and i have noticed that although the customisation seems to work, it doesnt all the time.

I created a Copy of the End Activity hook like so.

And have called the Layer for the End Activity slied out

I have customised the End Activity slide out to Hide, Disable, Read only, the complete check box (Have tried all 3 options) and saved that as a layer in App Studio (STI-EndLabor).

As you can see from the below, it opens the slide out initially with the check box hidden, however if i click cancel or got out and come back in again it will open the slide out with it visible.

I have obviously missed something somewhere but i cannot see it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

In my experience when you are trying override the default thing that kinetic is doing you need to actually tell it to override.

This launches a customized End Activity screen that like you had the Complete check box as read only to prevent the exceptionally odd time someone manually clicks it without entering the proper qty.
