MES button grayed out

I have a MES user that can’t access a button on the MES Production screen.

The employee is set up as a Production worker and the Production check box is check on the MES security. What am I missing??

I’m not 100% sure, but I think that one is under the material handler permissions.

EDIT: Nope that’s not right.

It’s this checkbox that turns that specific one on.

that is checked on the user.

Are you 100% sure you are in the same system? I found a user that it wasn’t active for, and I checked the box, then when I log back in, it’s active. Something else weird is going on.

yes it is already checked…

I even went in an gave access to the users security group in the menu for Return Assembly but I didn’t see a Material Request menu item.

Do you have an employee who can access it? You might be able to compare the two and see what’s missing.

that is the info I am waiting on. I want to compare if they have someone who can access it.

Just another thought to double check. Do you have Advanced Material? I believe Return Assembly/Material Request is part of AMM.

I had this issue a few weeks ago.
It was because I had the username populated here:

When I remove it, the permissions worked fine.

no we do not have AMM. It was working once before when we tested something so not sure what happened.

no user name there.

If other users work fine, I would try and right-click the background, click personalization, then click on delete.
Restart MES and see if that works.

If you have access to the Admin Console, you could check to see if the module is licensed and enabled.

i know we are not licensed for AMM.

Try checking the Material Handler box

so evidently i have found out that someone made a customization or change to the config file. SIGH nothing like communication.

We’re having the same issue.

What change or customization did they make? How did you fix it?
