This is the first time we’ve ran into this and we aren’t really sure why it’s happening. To quote Joshua himself,

Has anyone ran into this issue in 2024.1 yet? Seems UD items are fully read-only and system items are partially read-only. New items seem unaffected. I am going to try this ‘solution’ but we are experiencing this in client and on the web. DMT seems to suffer the same and be user specific, my user with full rights can’t change a menu item but the primary global admin account can. I tried to update all menus with the admin on DMT to reflect our GOOD environment but the same issue persists so I think it’s something with security somehow. A user had a different unrelated issue today where they had the right menu security but couldn’t do some changes in credit manager. We took away their rights and readded them and then they could. However, this didn’t work for me and menu maintenance unfortunately.
I did a fresh db copy onto another environment and it is fine, but this environment we are halfway through loading data for a training session next week and would really prefer not to restart the load. Seems I keep running into the strange issues lately…
