Menu Maintenance for more than one company

In report styles - make the custom report style only available to each specific company.

(at least in E9 this is possible)

I hope my question makes sense.
 
First of all, we are on Vantage 8.03.408B.
 
We have more than one company operating within Vantage.  If I go into Security Maintenance>Menu Maintenance, if I change the menu option for one company, Vantage will make a corresponding change to the other company's menu.
 
This has really caused an issue as we are trying to print Custom Invoices for each company.  Everytime I change the location of the report for one company, the change is made in the other company.
 
Is there a simple fix for this?

Use (User) Security Groups to suppress/enable menu folders and items.  Sometimes it would make sense to have a change in Menu Maint be visible among all companies and sometimes not so much.

 

Or, assign your menu option to a new Security ID (the Security Tab in Menu Maint) and check the box “Current Company Only”.

Not sure if it is the best, but what we do is have a custom menu item for each – Report – company1, Report – company2
