Menu Maintenance Classic view

How do I get the menu maintenance to classic view or user choice. I have it set in my pilot environment but I didn’t it so long ago I can’t figure it out in my new environment. I know I struggled with this before.

This changes by version… if you’re still on 2022.2 (meaning you’re also on-premise), try this:

  1. Open Menu Maintenance (in Kinetic)
  2. navigate down to and open the Menu Maintenance entry (there are two instances of Menu Maintenance, remember which one you’re changing!)
  3. MAKE SURE there is a value in the “Kinetic Application” field that says “Ice.UI.MenuMEntry” AND there is a value in the “URL” field
  4. on the overflow menu (top right) select Kinetic Options
  5. there are a couple of toggles there, I don’t remember how they’re worded, but set them so that Classic is enabled and NewUI isn’t (or something like that)
  6. SAVE and close
  7. Exit Epicor entirely

When yo log back in, the Menu Maintenance instance that you changed ought to come up in Classic when clicked.
