Mapped Drives

We kept the same drive letter. The client installs are an issue. We always
un-install progress and re-install it during the final client setup on the
new version the day before going live. If you are going to keep the same
server you are fine, because the progress un-install needs to see the
progress server on the mapped drive. If you are changing servers you will
have to un-install progress with the drive mapped to the old server, then
change your drive mapping to the new server and run the install. This is
especially true with Win98 clients. Win2000 and XP seem to handle it
better.

I changed drive letters from 5.2 to 6.0. Tech support said that the same
drive letter from 6.0 to 6.1 was ok. I am going from 6.0 to 6.1 right now.
