In Part File Maintenance check the "Non-Stock Item". When you create a Sales
Order for the part it will generate a manufacturing suggestion.

Jasper:

Look for the topic titled "Creating and Maintaining Jobs from Suggestions"
in Vantage Help. This Help topic describes fairly well the criteria or
conditions that are evaluated in this function.

Jasper,

In the sales order line/release - if you click the "make" box it will
generate a manufacturing suggestion. You will get a suggestion for every
release you mark as "make". Hope this helps!

Also, I believe on previous releases, each release required a quantity and a
due date for it to show up in suggestions.
