That's precisely what I have done in the past. I put a checkbox on the
form. If CheckBox is enabled. then bypass the BPM.

What if you just dropped a checkbox field next to the plant on the form,
label it 'override' or 'lock' (or something like that), and then just add a
condition to the BPM that says this checkbox field is false?

hello
i have a BPM in sales order entry that looks for OnHand Qty in a plant A, if pant A doesnt have the full amount, it release to plant B.

Sometimes, customer service needs to overide this BPm on special orders that need to ship out of plant B but the part number has on hand qty in plant A.

the current bpm is a post-process and if i manually change the release plant to plant b it automatically changes back to plant a. i understand is the BPM but how can i modify my code to let me overide the BPM in sales order entry.

Thanks

Sanjay
Just put a condition on your BPM that the Plant Field Has Not Changed from
Any to Any.

Thanks. I did all those steps, the only one that didnt match was the pre-processing. You said ' has not change from any to any'. But there is only 'has changed from any to any'. I did the test and my BPM didnt even kick off. Am i missing something?
Thanks.

Jose,
if i did this correctly, the way my BPM kicks off is on the change of the release plant correct that i would have to manually change? But what i want is the bpm to kick in and if i need to change the release then i manually change it. thanks jose
