We have a customer with multiple ship to locations. We are being asked to use the location’s fedex accounts to bill shipping. Each location has two fedex accounts: one for freight, the other for parcels.
I have Manifest, and I am wondering if anyone has dealt with this scenario before. Epicor Help doesn’t cover it. I tried to work through the screens and it looks like I can set it up using the Ship To-Manifest Info-Billing tab on the Customer Maintenance screen. However, this is just at the Customer level, I need to link two accounts at the Ship To level.
I don’t know if Epicor is setup to do that yet. We use manifest but only use one customer billing account per ship to. I would suggest you create a ticket with Manifest support. If Epicor can’t do this today you should ask to make sure it gets on their roadmap for future updates.
That is exactly what I will do, as I am afraid this scenario will only become more commonplace in the real world. Epicor currently suggests to “use third party billing and add enter their account number on the sales order”, which will do for a single order but gets old quickly.
