Make to order question

We are make to stock currently but I was wondering how Make to Order behaves.

We have jobs that have 100 to 150 sub assemblies but all are pull as assembly so no job is required to create them as they are all under the parent job.

If we switch to make to order do the lower level assemblies reference the job? Having PO suggestions appear with the top level part number job would increase our visibility on POs.

Yes, if your MOM is set up correctly and you do make to order, it will pull the details and build 1 job with all subassemblies.
