Make Ship Via code inactive or available only for certain buyers

Hi All,

Can we make a ship via code inactive without deleting the record? or is there a way to only make certain ship via codes available to certain buyers. We have some buyers making errors (choosing wrong ship via code for wrong type of PO’s), so I’m trying to see whether I can eliminate the possibility for errors rather than asking them to do it right all the time.

you can block the update by user or group fairly easily.

Just to clarify, do you mean use a preprocessing BPM on the update method?

yes preprocessing throw an exception on the buyer ship via combination.

I am just beginning to play around with BPMs, this will be nice little exercise.
