We were originally doing this through a local file download link over email but looking at something more without having to have the users click on the download link.  We’ll have to test your recommendations.  Does Epicor have any documentation on setting these up?

You can deploy updated via the Epicor mfgsys / sysconfig file.

Since everyone here is on a domain, we just write a logon script to do an xcopy and copy the files on the client machine from a root source and thats it. Pretty simple process, don't need anything fancy, unless you aren't on a domain, in which case, I'd send a local file download link over email or something.

We have custom .dll files that are run locally on the client PC and some that are run through the terminal servers. What process and tools are you using to push these custom .dll files to client PC users? We have quite a few client PC users and looking for some thoughts on what others are doing to do a mass update of client files.

Since everyone here is on a domain, we just write a logon script to do an xcopy and copy the files on the client machine from a root source and thats it. Pretty simple process, don't need anything fancy, unless you aren't on a domain, in which case, I'd send a local file download link over email or something.
You can deploy updated via the Epicor mfgsys / sysconfig file.
