Load Leveling Gaps?

After using the load leveling feature in Resource Scheduling Board, I’m getting some odd gaps.
Does anybody know what might cause gaps like this?

A little background…
This Resource & Resource Group are on a 5d24h calendar so I’m expecting a schedule that run continuously here.

Other resources in this same resource group, when load leveled, schedule continuously through the night (and some do not, this is an example of the latter).

As I understand it, the purpose of Load Leveling is to help eliminate gaps in the production schedule, so I’ve very confused by this scenario.

Any thoughts are appreciated. :slightly_smiling_face:
Thanks EpiUsers!

I would take a look at any lead times or lag times on the operations. The only time I’ve seen something like that is where there is a lead time on the next operation (or lag time on the finished operation) that causes the gap.

Thank you Kevin! I’ve looked at the job’s operation and method’s operation. Any lead times or lag times are set to 0 (as far a I can tell).

One more example. The calendar on the site, resource group, and resource group should all allow jobs to run until 11pm on a Friday, but the last job ends around 6pm. The next job on the schedule is only 1.5 hours so it should fit on the schedule for Friday night, but instead it jumps to the next available day.

Oddly, this gap issue is only happening when I Load Level on the day of.
If I Load Level the same group of jobs, but have them start tomorrow (or any other time in the future), the gap disappears.

Any other thoughts on this?
Or maybe I just won’t Load Level on the current day? :man_shrugging::joy:
