Can this be done easily. I am trying to create a crystal report to
group by job number and then display est. hours vs. actual. I want to
be able to know what customer is associated to the jobs.
Are your jobs linked to the Customer Sales Order? If so, use the
JobProd table.

Subject: [Vantage] Linking the customer name to a job number

Can this be done easily. I am trying to create a crystal report to
group by job number and then display est. hours vs. actual. I want to
be able to know what customer is associated to the jobs.

The only way to do this is if the demand is Sales Order (job[s] linked
to the sales order release-MAKE DIRECT is checked).

If this is the case, then JobProd is your table to link the JobHead and
OrderRel (back to the OrderHed). But the OrderHed has CustNum (which
is meaningless to most). So to get to the Customer Name, you must link
the OrderHed.CustNum to the Customer.CustNum to get the Customer Name.

Whew...
