Does Epicor 10 have any capability to link one part with a replacement? We regularly discontinue parts in favor of replacements, and we need some way to associate the original part with the new one. We could do this with custom tables and services, but I’d like to avoid this if possible.
If you setup the the alternates as substitute, Epicor will warn the user that the part is being replaced. I really like to use run out with the substitute function.
