Limiting Access to Payment Processing in AP Payments

The nice thing about BPMs is that you can say something a bit more friendly than the error message you'll get with Process Security.

Yeah, I thought about that, I was trying to avoid using a BPM where the process security should be working but that might be what I have to do

Thanks for the input

You could also write a pre-processing BPM on APInvGrp.PreProstGr oupInvoices whose condition is "the user does not belong to the specified group" and raise an exception.

I was able to limit the Process Payments to a particular user but not the Posting. When I talked to Epicor about it they replicated it and said it was a bug and would write it up. This is for Epicor 904.504 but maybe I am still missing a setup here

On the Allow Access tab the allow access to all groups/users is checked
On the Disallow Access Tab, the checkbox is cleared and the specific users that are not allowed to post are moved to the right column
