Licensed Modules in Use

The company I recently came onboard with has 115 out of 176 modules marked as ‘Licensed’ and ‘Enabled’ in the Licensing Properties in the Administration Console…is there any way to determine which of those modules we are actually using, rather than paying for and letting them idly sit by not earning their worth?

Additionally, some of the Module Names are generic or simply do not mean anything to me, and I was wondering: Is there any form of documentation that lists out each of the 176 modules available, and what their purpose is?

No not really. There are some specialized modules where you might be able to figure out if you are using it like Quality or TaxConnect because the functionality is very discrete. But with a lot of the modules its hard to know if you are using any of the screens enabled by that module. And a lot of the modules only enable certain functionality in a screen you otherwise still have access to which is even trickier to figure out. I think your best bet is to ask your CAM for an account review.

Oh, I know that all too well. In 7 years with 2 jobs dealing with Epicor, I have had over 6 different CAMs.
