I am trying to DMT to LEAD Box in the Supplier Price List. I have used them template builder to create what I thought would be an easy DMT, but I cannot get anything to change this Box after processing MRP. I have tried Vender, Price List, Part Plant Tables, but nothing is working to DMT these parts. I could do it manually, but now this is just bothering me! Has anyone successfully DMT’d this data table?
Was just using as an example. I cannot figure out where that data field is. It is driving purchasing decisions. I have changed it for a collection of parts in Part Plant, Supplier Part, Supplier Price List, but they all just keep staying the same on the price list and on the NEW PO Suggestions. I don’t understand what other data tables their are to DMT.
The Supplier Price Break table also requires the effective date to match in the your spreadsheet. It is a part of the key, otherwise, DMT won’t know which record to update. It’s a tricky table to update in batch.
Thanks All - Updateable BAQ was awesome! It updated all the pricelists. However, I ran MRP on this part and PO Suggestion still is saying 10 in lead time!
Yes the Part plant was the first table I looked too. No where do these parts have a lead time of 10 days, but in NEW PO Suggestions it is getting 10 days from somewhere. I for the life of me cannot figure it out.
Thanks Mark - Those are also updated. I am running out of places to look! I have a ticket open now, hoping Epicor can tell me where that lead time is being pulled from.
I had not thought of that so I did review, but that is also not the case. In fact time phase also shows the correct lead time. The only place it shows the 10 days (as opposed to the correct 15) is in the PO suggestion module. It is driving me crazy.
I had not thought of that, but sadly that was not the issue either. Epicor can’t seem to tell me where that number is coming from either. Very strange.
I did not John. But I just did and the default was 10. Is there a reason that PO Suggestions would bi-pass all the other lead times?
Perhaps there is a lead time hierarchy?
PS - Thank you so much for following up with me on this.
THEORETICALLY, hierarchies such as this work from the bottom up… so that a PartPlant value would be looked at first, and if it was set to zero at that level it would go up a notch to PartClass (I’m leaving out Urgent Planning here).
If it isn’t working that way (and it sure looks like it isn’t), enter in a support call and see if it’s a known bug in your version. This one has BIG implications for a lot of people.
Just for fun, remove the value from the Part Class screen (set it to zero) and re-run Generate Suggestions… see if it then follows the PartPlant value.
Thanks Ernie,
I will try to remove from Part Class. I have a ticket open with Epicor, agree it is a big issue. Thanks for the suggestion. I will let you know how it goes,
I tried, processed MRP - Still says 10 in the New PO Suggestions. It is 15 at PArt Plant, Price Lists, Everywhere, except where it matters! This is driving me crazy.
