Lydia,
Our setting is for Hours.Decimal Hours. Just on the Labor Edit Listing
do we see Hours:Min. All of the clock out times are H.DH. Only about
10% of the clock in times are H:M. My guess is that it is caused by some
obscure artifact from upgrading. We have been using Vantage since 2.5 or
2.6.
I duplicated the Labor Edit Listing in RB. It's not quite as easy to use
but
the problem is fixed.

Bob:
Found this in the Vantage help stuff:
Time Format
Time Format defines how you will enter clock in and out times in Labor Entry
and how times of day are displayed in various programs throughout the
system. You can elect to display time as either HOURS/MINUTES or
HOURS/HUNDREDTHS.
This option only controls the way the times are ENTERED. Once entered, the
elapsed hours calculated are always represented as decimal values-that is,
as Hours/Hundredths.
Could this be contributing to your problem?
Lydia
We have had an open issue with the Labor Edit List since version 2.6.
Now on 4.00.815.
The times on the edit list are mixed. Most entries are in decimal minutes.
But some are in minutes and seconds. The difference being a decimal point
or a colon in the entry. I have never been able to detect a pattern.
Sometimes the hms entry will be on a clock in. Sometimes on a clock out.
Different
employees. Different work centers. Different person/work center running
the report.
Everything in Vantage is set for 100ths of a minute.
Epicor didn't have a solution. They asked for our database, said maybe
there's
something strange in there. Management said no. What to do??
Has anyone else seen this problem. Any guesses?
