I will second the Z4M. In our application I went the extra cost and added
an optional cutter, use continuous label stock, and set up a number of
buttons to print a label length from as narrow as .75 inches up to 7.5
inches. (the shorties spit out like a machine gun). We also use a couple
of Eltron 2884's. With precut rolls of 6.50 inch stock and precuts of 1
inch. The Eltrons are direct thermal, and significantly slower but they are
so simple to operate that even the executives aren't baffled by it. (well
mostly anyway)

Zebra Z4M. Over 3 years and not a single maintenance issue (wood knocking
in background). Very easy to print to (like a laser printer) from RB or
Crystal so no special label format programming.

Is anyone using Thermo Label Printers to print shipping labels in
Vantaqe? We are currently using flat sheet laser printer labels.
Interested in knowing how they are working out and what was involved
to get Vantage printing on this type of Lable. If you want you can
