You will have to redo the customization in the Application Studio on the Kinetic side.
It seems that if you want to roll out a dashboard in Both Kinetic and Classic, you need two different Menu items. The Kinetic Dashboard uses a different Program than the Classic Dashboard (so both reference a different program), even though there is a field in Menu Maintenance called Form To Use, the “User Choice” does not allow the user to choose, so name your menu items accordingly.
