Is there a Kinetic equivalent to the classic ui mouseover event?
In our PartEntry we have a bunch of text boxes for ShortChar 01-10 and when the user mouses over one of the textboxes it displays the text associated with ‘code’ that is in the textbox
I don’t believe there is one.
I would suggest submitting feedback or an Epicor idea for that.

From my limited Web experience it would be called onHover. If that does not exist I would submit some feedback
Currently, most controls only have OnClick, OnBlur, and OnCreate. Definitely going to need way more options.
We too have some hover text popups to explain custom fields so for sure this is going to be needed.

Buttons have this functionality via the title tag and Kendo UI (Epicor’s chosen library for the UI) also has full tooltip functionality, so it’s not like the devs would have to start from scratch. Maybe it’s already in the upcoming 2021.2 release?
Nope. This one is not coming in 2021.2. Would you a good idea to submit an Epicor idea and upvote it.
I think you are referring to a BAQZone, either way, it is a feature in Classic I hadn’t thought about testing.
So a BAQZone is a BAQ that is created to show a popup on certain fields on mouse hover and it then passes that fields value to the BAQ and the popup displays the results of the BAQ.
