I have a part number that can be selected and I want have a box that you can add a quantity of that item based on what a customer wants to add to there build and then it pushes that quantity through to the quote for costing and then the job.
Any help would be appreciated.
Not quite sure what you are asking to happen. The Product Configurator can ask for a numeric value (i.e. Qty). It then can use a method rule to use the value to change the qty per Parent of a material input, a production standard or just about any numeric value associated with the MOM (BOM/BOO)…
If all you need is for a qty value to flow to a job then a customization might be more appropriate. Customization could store the value in a field on the quote/order line that a BPM/data directive pulls over as part of job creation or other job related business event.
