Kinetic Cloud Cadence users - any bothered by the new upgrade date moved up one week?

Hi all Kinetic Cloud Cadence users,
I just wanted to vent a little. Back on August 30th there was a webinar that we all could attend to see what is new in the new release of 2023.2. They provided us with much information plus a schedule of upgrades this fall. I was also given the nice option of clicking on the scheduled dates to put Calendar reminders in my Outlook on my computer. This was all done on the EpicWeb page. I loved all of this.
What I am unhappy about is that Epicor provides all of this information on the Epicweb page but wants us to monitor the status.epicor.com web page and alerts. So I thought I was all set after the webinar and had all of my Outlook reminders set and had my tasks for testing and other projects all set for the fall. Then last week Thursday I get an alert stating that the upgrade has been moved up one week. I went to my Epicare web page to ask why the change in plans so close to the upgrade date. This is their response: “Decision made by Product Management and Product Marketing to accommodate the upcoming releases and taking consideration of Holidays too.” So I guess us customers are just supposed to rearrange our production schedules and project schedules just because Epicor realized they needed to change their schedule for their purposes. Not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I had to vent about it. We are in the process of a big project at our plant that was being done around the upgrade schedule. Now we have to adapt to the new schedule. Just makes it stressful for everyone at our plant.
Thanks for listening??
Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I also thought this was ridiculous, I posted about it at the time they made the change. They should never change an already published timeline to move the date CLOSER. Even moving it further out would have been difficult but less problematic than reducing the time available for testing.

Yep. It is happening November 3rd (evening) thru Sunday, November 5th now. They are telling us not to pay attention to this published list. That we are supposed to pay attention to the alerts from status.epicor.com only. Why even publish this epicweb page list if no one can rely on it? Glad there is someone as frustrated as myself.

Its been correct on Epicweb for over a month. But they did remove the date after first publishing it, and then changed it to November 3 after that.
