Kinetic 2024.2.8 Update - Anything Notable Updated/Fixed for you all?

I’ve read through the release notes of this update; there are nearly three pages of notes on the .8 update. There is not much in there specifically that we are looking for (mostly related to grid sorting for us and issues when many windows are open).

Is there anything major for you all that you’ve been waiting (or talking about on EpiUsers) that was resolved?

This was one of the longest times between updates that I’ve seen, which is probably good, IMHO. Sometimes, these updates fix things that aren’t specifically noted, I’d love to hear. We are going to install this update on our Pilot and take a look at it.

We are waiting for:

  1. PRB0292327 Records Changing navigating between multiple windows. Customer is reporting scenario A, but after testing, different variants got identified.

  2. PRB0292373 Removing group labels in a landing page takes too much time and cause the webpage to crash.

It sounds like PRB0292327 was fixed for us in .7. That’s when you click on a row and different row data appears?

It is similar to PRB0290990 which was our initial problem/case and fixed in .7. This one deals with records changing between different windows. We still see this behavior in .7 under specific situations.
