Kicking people out

Speaking of ProMon, is there a way to run it on a workstation, rather than
the server?

You would want to setup ProMon to see the connections to the database
through Progress. There is a link in the Epicor KnowledgeBase that explains
how to do this.

Is there anyway when I have too many users logged into Vantage (5.2.305)
We we exceed the maximum number of users for me to log in as an
administrator to see who is logged in etc?
When I try my manager account it won't let me in either.

The old software that we use to run would at least let the manager in
but give a warning every time you tried to do something!

Looks like the Michael Podin utility is in order for us!

Thanks guys (and gals)

Under System Management, Utilities, I see an option for "connected users"
which seems to be a current list of all users logged in. It doesn't look
like you can kick out users from there, though. That still needs to be done
using Promon.

In order to disconnect a user via the "connected users" feature you need
to be logged into Vantage at the server. This does require a user
license so promon may be your only choice.

Also in systems management/Utilities there's a Connect Users function
that will tell you whose connected.
