We do this sort of klutzy but it's free and it works. User print previews
traveler then cancels without printing. Then runs special version of
traveler from favorites bar. Special version is created and distributed to
user using the report distribution wizard in Crystal 8.0 or earlier. We
removed all shipping info from traveler and created a shipping only version
(Ship Advisor). We now also have a tool room only version that super
condenses (one line) all non-tool room operations.

they would like to print when they are creating a job. We would like to

Yes, it is possible by modifying the traveller. we had one traveller which printed out completely different forms for 2 sub-companies. The group headers & footers & details etc were duplicated, with suppression rules applied so that company "A" got a very formal looking traveller 1 page long, and company "B", had a traveller which went to multiple pages with lots of embedded information.

There's a multi-form print utility that Caesar development sells that allows
you to choose from a drop-down list of reports when printing any of the
crystal forms.
