Job Traveler and Primary Bin Locations

I've actually updated the report data definitions, but it just does not
seem possible to get the Job's Part prim bin to show up. I'm thinking
maybe it's due to the 3 sub reports I have set up. In the Data
definitions these are the 3 relationships and field's that I'm using.

Parent Table= JobMtl Child Table= PartBin

Parent Field Name Child Field Name

Company Company

PartNum PartNum

WarehouseCode WarehouseCode

Parent Table= JobMtl Child Table=Part

Parent Field Name Child Field Name

Company Company

PartNum PartNum

Parent Table=JobMatl Child Table= PlantWhse

Parent Field Name Child Field Name

Company Company

PartNum PartNum

Plant Plant

WarehouseCode WarehouseCode

I have 3 Sub reports for the material, sub assembly and operations. Do
you think that might be the issue. Should they not be subreports?

Thanks,

Travis

If you go in and modify the report data definition you should be able to
add
or remove just about what ever you want. After the report data def has
been
updated you will need to go to the crystal report and modify it
accordingly.

This is very general I know if you need more help let me know. I've done
this a time or two but I'm not super experienced.

Subject: [Vantage] Job Traveler and Primary Bin Locations

Besides using the job traveler to locate primary bins for parts does
anyone use any other method? With the upgrade from Vantage 5.2 to 8.03
we are limited on what can be displayed on the jobtraveler even after
modifying the report. We can view the materials primary bin, but the
jobs part primary bin cannot be linked due to the relationship already
being established. Just curious what others have been doing.

Thanks,
