Leading manufacturer of cast machined components and assemblies, seeks an individual with extensive experience internationally sourcing parts, conducting contract negotiations with vendors, and directing the strategic activities of buyers. The ability to assess the capabilities of potential vendors is a must; forging, casting, and experience dealing with manufacturers also key. Proven track record as an inter/intradepartmental team player, with all levels of the organization, in an environment committed to "doing what it takes" to delight our customers.

Individual needs to be a self-starter, committed to continuous process improvement, and must possess a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Candidate should possess at least a B.A. and CPM or APICS certification plus 10 yrs of purchasing and management experience.
