Job material report

Hi Roel, I believe you have helped me before. I will begin linking the tables and perhaps bug you a couple more times with additional questions. This is a great start!

Many thanks.

Ken

Subject: [Vantage] Job material report

Good afternoon Ken.

I created a Material Requirements Report for our heavily customized Material Planning operation; it would be hard to share the BAQ and Crystal form because many features and options are "hard-coded" to our structure.

Having said that, I can describe what I did and which tables I used hoping it helps a little. I based my BAQ in

JobMtl, linked to:

* JobAsmbl/JobHead. For Job information, requirements data.

* PODtl/PORel For receiving balances and PORelease Due Dates.

* PartPlant. For lead-times, allocations (sum of outstanding job material requirements for this part).

* PartWhse/Whse. For On-Hand quantities and calculate available.

In my case, I set every table joint to "Inner" with the exception of the PODtl/PORel line because there might not be open POs for the material and also "outer" for the PartWhse/Whse link.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to get a straight answer from Epicor support on what tables are needed for the Job Material Requirements report. Apparently that is a progress report and cannot be modified. I wanted to recreate it using BAQs. Other than the <job.mtl> table, I'm wondering what are the other related tables I can use that will tell me the material status, whether they have been ordered, time of arrival etcetera. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

Ken
