Job Costing - Actual - MFG-STK

​​1) Has anyone had any success in backing into the unit costs Epicor calculates for material, labor, and burden for MFG-STK job receipt to inventory transactions? I’m looking for a formula I can consistently use for calculating this. I know that it needs to take partial quantities completed and quantities completed that are greater than the production quantity into account. I can come close to the numbers, but can’t match it exactly. I reviewed the technical reference guide, but didn’t find it to be very helpful.

  1. Any idea why the actual material total on the job tracker --> Job Details --> Assemblies --> Costs tab doesn’t consistently match the material transactions totals?

Use the production detail report to see the source of the Job cost.

I recall another thread on here stating the costs shown in the Job Tracker weren’t as you’d expect.

I encountered similar issue back in E9 - and as i remember there wasn’t a real way to address the calculation of PARTIAL job receipt unit costs under actual costing. the key item i believe was the algorithm’s attempt to ‘hold’ costs to allocate to expected future receipts.

i had the pseudocode somewhere - but i cannot find it . will post if i do

i believe the decision at the time was to make smaller jobs - so they could be fully completed

We have encountering similar issue. There is any report from which we can get Part wise detail of quantity and cost for each MFG-STK.
