Issues with token life on devices logged in via azure ad

Hi all, looking for some recommendations here.

The issue is we are using POD in Epicor Kinetic WH but the guys are complaining that every time they pull out the phone to get a signature from the client the app is logged all the way out and they have to go through the whole process off logging back in with the azure ad creds and then back into EKW and its a pita.

Had a ticket open with Epicor for a couple weeks now and I’m getting constant backlash from the staff around when this issue is going to be resolved but my Epicor ticket has gone dead.

I am going to reach out to Biscit directly but thought I would ask here as well.

Where we got to with Epicor is to configure token life via Azure AD B2C but we do not have this configured in our tenant and I do not know what affect this will have and if there will be any unintended consequences.
Azure AD auth is configured as per the Epicor documentation and is working just fine as is.

Another thought I had was that it could actually be android that’s the issue. We recently implemented MS Teams phone to replace our old IP phone system and we discovered that there were issues with users on android phones where android has multiple levels of “sleep” for background apps and if it went too far down the levels it would no longer be woken by incoming calls as the app was no longer connected to the internet. The only solution was to change a bunch of power settings on the phones but even that was not a perfect solution and resulted in significantly faster power drain on the device (IOS devices have no such issue)

Does anyone have any experience with any of this or suggestions on a solution to this issue? Are either of the things above the ideal/only solution?

Thanks

Reply from Biscit, this is something they are actively working on to try and improve.

Also went into the settings on the devices and changed all their internet and power settings to unrestricted for that app to see if that helps at all.

Will wait to hear back from the guys if it’s made anything better.
