Once the part master is set to alpha numeric there is no changing it back to numeric. I know from experience.
alpha numeric serial will not let you do a range of serial numbers, you have to enter each one individually.
the only thing that can be change in serial numbers is if you have to go from 3 to 4 digits, epicor has a program for that change
