Wondering if anyone has come across issues joining another table into a report data definition and the fields from that new table not generating any data within the SSRS report, but more specifically we are having issues joining DMRHead into MscShip data definition. We are joining DMRHead in to bring through some UD fields that have been added to it.
Here’s the steps we’ve followed.
Create duplication of MscShip data definition, rename to TTE_DMR2. Bring in DMRHead and un-tick fields (exclusions) required for join and main query.
Create new relationship MscDtToDMR
Map new data definition within the report style
Update dataset query to include left out join to DMRHead and new fields
Add fields to the data properties like for like
Save all / Test Print and no data from the DMRHead table gets generated. Have checked via BAQ for the DMR number in this example and there is data there, it’s just not appearing on the SSRS report
Is there anything that jumps out here that we are missing please? I’ve tried deleting and retrying all the above steps again, but to no luck
