Is there a use for this?

I never noticed that the Table List in a BAQ has some editable columns. (Of course, the one I really want to edit - Alias - is grayed out.)

So, at the risk of not understanding the answer, is there actually a use for changing the “Type” or “Name” here? Just curious. I couldn’t find anything in the help.
