Hi ,
In our company, Currently we are running process(Process MRP) in night time. Now our company is going to 24 hrs shift .The users will be using epicor in night time also. Is running process affect the users working in night shift? Is epicor is going to be slow when process runs?
That is kind of an ‘it depends’ question…hardware infrastructure, how you run MRP, overall evening load, etc.
I have seen it run and nobody even knows it is running and I have also seen it tax the system pretty well in some environments.
In general, it definitely has an impact but you will probably need to try it and see how it behaves in your environment. You can always cancel the process.
We run 24/7 and MRP runs every night and it doesn’t cause any issues or slow anybody down.

Thank you so much @rosshughes. This answer helps me lot . I will try running the process and check how Epicor works when process is running.
