We’re getting ready to begin testing Epicor Wireless Warehouse using the Honeywell EDA71 devices and would like to lock them down so that the users can only perform the basic functions necessary for specific Epicor processes like receiving, shipping, labor, etc. Has anyone found a way to do this using some sort of device management software or anything?
We use a mix of devices including the EDA71, CK65, and EDA51. I think we have few Samsung rugged tablets as well. the devices all work well, get some feedback from your team using them. our forklift drivers get the CK65 long range scanners, the rest are up for grabs!
We use manage engine to lock down the device, remote deploy apps and remote support.
