I want to know if anyone has used iOS devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad) with Epicor as a scanner option.
we kind of do. We have an app developed for it, but they don’t use Epicor functionality, they (Jose don’t shoot me) write directly to the UD tables.
I will say I HATE apple and their account setup that you have to do in order to use them. All of the updating and accounts that you have to make is a huge pain to manage as a business where people need to share things. The only reason we went with apple is because there is scanner hardware available since all of that is standardized.
